Head coach Randy Alcantara acknowledged the defense shown by his San Juan Knights in the second half to defeat the visiting Quezon City Capitals.

"Buti nalang nakabalik kami sa dati naming depensa. Nung first three quarters mahina yung depensa namin sa outside eh, buti nalang nakadepensa kami sa third and fourth," he said.

Alcantara was also quick to remind his boys of not to any them easily specially QC who is capable of a last-minute turnaround.

"Every game naman and every kalaban namin kailangan talagang trabahuhin. Nagkataon lang talaga maganda depensa namin and na-connect namin mga extra passes namin."

"QC hindi pwedeng pabayaan yan tulad nang sinasabi ko palagi, kahit anong team kaya kaming talunin kapag nagpabaya kami," he added.

Nonetheless, he offered the win to the San Juan crowd for their support.

"Lumabas at naglaro sila para sa mga taga-San Juan na kailangan ipakita at manalo kami ng convincing tonight."
