San Juan builds high-rise public housing
San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora has proposed the construction of a high-rise public housing project in the city.
Zamora and his father, San Juan City Rep. Ronaldo Zamora, met with National Housing Authority General Manager Jun Escalada on September 4 to discuss details of the project.
The mayor earlier said the city government plans to build a 22-storey housing building in Barangay St. Joseph. It will have units with an area of 32 to 36 square meters.
Plano po nating mag-groundbreaking para dito bago matapos ang taon,” Zamora said.
If the timetable is followed, two to three towers of the housing project may be completed before Zamora’s term ends in 2022.
