Police save 11 Chinese women from Parañaque prostitution den

Police raided a hotel being used as a prostitution den and saved 11 Chinese women Sunday in Paranaque City.

Southern Police District Director Brig. Gen. Nolasco Bathan said joint operatives of District Special Operation Unit (DSOU), SPD Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD) and Intelligence Unit of Paranaque police led by Maj. Wilfredo Sangel swooped down Go Hotel located on Quirino Avenue, in Bgy. Tambo, at around 1:45 a.m. after receiving information that illegal sex trade was happening in the hotel.

Maj. Sangel said the sex trade happened from the 5th floor up to 8th floor of the hotel being occupied by 11 Chinese women, and managed by Chinese national Ye Gui Cal who was subsequently arrested during the raid.

Prior to the police operation, an undercover cop who posed as customer managed to transact with Ye Gui Cal and when he gave the pre-arranged signal, operatives immediately swooped down to rescue 11 Chinese nationals.

Charges for Anti-Trafficking in Person Act will be filed by police against Ye Gui Cai while the 11 Chinese women were turned over to Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for debriefing and counselling.
