Manila keeps roads obstruction-free
The Department of Public Services-Manila Task Force Against Road Obstruction is committed to fulfilling their duty of maintaining cleanliness and obstruction-free roads in various locations in Manila. Under the leadership of Mayor Dra. Honey Lacuna, the employees work tirelessly to clean up and remove garbage littering the streets.
To achieve their goal, the task force conducts daily cleaning and sweeping operations in different areas such as the Delpan Evacuation Center, Cavite from Rizal Ave. to Ipil Street, Solis from JAS Ave. to New Antipolo Dagupan Ext., and Juan Luna. The DPS Power Washer Team also performs flushing operations around Patricia Complex, while the mopping operations team is active along Pedro Gil, bridge under Ch.Hilado Barangay 819, and M. Lopez Blvd., Capulong Footbridge, Barangay 107 Zone 9 Ch. Caccam.
Moreover, the cleaning team focuses on specific locations such as Jones Bridge, Q. Paredes St., Escolta St., Yuchengco St., San Vicente St., Dasmariñas St., Juan Luna St., 1919 Grand Cafe, Intramuros Bridge, Birch Tree Plaza, Muelle del Banco, Super Perry Station, and Plaza Yuchengco. The department reminds the community to be responsible for their environment and nature.
Today, on March 21, 2023, the task force is conducting a flushing operation in Barangay 417 Zone 43. With their continuous efforts, the department hopes to achieve their vision of a cleaner and greener Manila.
